How to wear headphones with long hair

Modern headphones have not been made to suit women. The headphones are just too wide for your head. The comfort level is also a concern. Wearing headphones with long hair can be a hassle. If you aren’t careful, your hair will get stuck in the ear cups. The perfect way to wear headphones with long hair is to use a headband while wearing your headphones.

How to wear headphones with long hair

Dear long-haired ladies, If you have problematic hair that length makes people uncomfortable because they are worried that your hair will tangle with their gadget, then this article is for you. I know how it feels when our hair is just too long and difficult to manage.

Sometimes we think about cutting them short, but it’s so hard to do because longer hair looks more appealing, right? But what if I tell you there is a way to have ideal long hair while using your gadgets on the go without any discomfort at all? The answer would be headphones, specifically designed for women with long braids.

I recently saw this new advertisement for Beats by Dre headphones (and read some reviews) and was pretty amazed at the thoughtfulness behind this design. These headphones (or earphones) are specifically made for women’s hair.

It is designed in a way that your long locks will not get stuck when you’re listening to music or talking on the phone while having the gadget in your pocket. How it works is, there is an additional compartment (attached to the cord) where you can place your hair when using these headphones. It also prevents tangling when not using them and keeps your hair neatly put so it won’t be sticking out of the headphones, which looks unkempt & messy.

This idea was inspired by ballerinas who always wear their hair up because loose hairs could sometimes interfere with their dance performance since it could get in the way of the dance steps.

Conclusion

If you’re a woman, wearing headphones is a pretty common occurrence. Whether you’re working out, commuting to school, or just relaxing at home, we all find ourselves listening to music, podcasts, or the audio from our favorite TV shows.

With the proliferation of wireless headphones, it’s easier than ever to listen to your favorite tunes without being tethered to your phone or laptop. I hope you enjoyed our blog on how to wear headphones with long hair.

FAQs

Can headphones ruin hair?

People with long hair, who use headphones regularly, may find their hair pulling on the lead and becoming damaged. Earphones often have an in-line controller to control volume or track changes, so the user must hold them with one hand while they do this with the other, which pulls on the earphones. It pulls on the hair, which could cause breakage and damage.

Can headphones stop hair growth?

Headphones are not medically proven to stop hair growth. However, headphones might cause stress and affect hair growth. When you put your phone on the ear, it ‘sounds’ this organ. The sound may cause stress, which then causes the hair growth to slow down. Headphones also may cause distraction, thus affecting hair growth.

Why do gamers wear headphones?

Gamers wear headphones to block outside noise. While playing a game, the sound of the outside world is blocked out. Music plays for other gamers as well as for team work.

How many hours can we use earphones?

The short answer is that there is no definitive answer to this question. It depends on the individual and the type of earphones. Typically, earphones can be used for up to eight hours before charging or replacing.

Which are the more harmful earphones or headphones?

Headphones are more harmful to your hearing because they have speakers next to your ears. On the other hand, Earbuds have speakers that are farther away from your ears, so their sound is less intense.
