There are ups and downs in the protagonist’s life and she has faced many challenges, betrayal, and hatred towards her decisions. She always used to hear that the liege heir cannot be a lady. The cousins and relatives are against her and her father used to tell her about his life and how he spent his life. She was also following the way her father lived.

Gainton
He was a maid when Cecylia was not born; he served the king for many years and was a loyal maid of the king. The Gianton, after the king’s death, managed his funeral ceremony which was planned at night.
Chris and Sophia (Sophie)
Chris and Sophie were Cecylia’s cousins and their main task was to fight with each other and tease others and make them angry with their filthy words. They did the same when her father died mysteriously.
Luzen
The king’s brother has a negative role in the story and is arguing with Lady Cecylia about the castle’s ownership. She was right that her relatives thought that female blood is inferior to male blood.
Explanation Of The Flower Of Veneration
One night Lady Cecylia was standing in front of the giant door of her father’s room. She slammed the door in anger. The scene he saw was a few maids standing close to his father’s dead body. She grabbed a sharp knife and moved close to her father whose body was covered with a white sheet.
She was about to peel the sheet when suddenly her maid interfered and said to calm down Lady Cecylia. She was quite angry and she couldn’t believe the sudden death of her father. She asked the maids what was the cause of the death.
Gianton was standing close to her and said the autopsy revealed no sign of poison or anything mysterious. Lady Cecylia replied was it a curse then? The maid was looking down and replied he was not certain. This statement made Cecylia extremely angry and abruptly replied that you would forgo the things until you are not certain. The death ceremony of the king was planned at night and Gianton was the person to arrange all the necessary things. She was not sad and suddenly surrounded by many thoughts she would have thought in the past.
The scene changed a few years back when Cecylia was quite young and she told about the boy she used to love and she could be married at this time and go through with a healthy married life. But all you planned did not work in real life. She recalled all her father’s advice about how to live life like Saryan and how he lived his life.
The scene shifts to the present day and she meets with Chris and Sophie who used to dictate the next heir of the castle to be honored with the lord and liege of the castle. Lady Cecylia while walking said that she is the only heir but her relatives think otherwise. At this moment she recalled all the memories with her father and she also said to herself that the person who casts a curse upon my father will face severe consequences.
Meanwhile, Cecylia argued with his uncle and the main debate was about the next heir to Saryan’s castle. She already faced discrimination when she was in her childhood but still, she was motivated to sort out this problem. Her uncle was raising discrimination on male and female blood and stated that female blood is always inferior to male blood.
However, she had the advantage of being the only heir of the Saryan family, and if she married a man then there would be a blood difference, and he couldn’t be a part of Saryan.
In The Flower of Veneration, the whole story is about defending the realm and the lordship that many relatives are looking for after the death of the Saryan owner. Lady Cecylia was curious if she would deny becoming the next leader as she was the rightful heir of the kingdom.
The protagonist didn’t have any interest in her father’s property and therefore she was always reminded about her capabilities. She improved herself and could earn more in her life. But she recalled his father’s advice about love for Cecylia – the father used to say you are the only child of mine and if I had a son he would be the next king to the castle without any trouble. After this, the lady Cecylia went straight to the castle and entered the father’s room where she heard whispering between Chris and Sophia about Cecylia. Is she capable of taking control over the Saryan Liege? All of a sudden, Cecylia entered the room, sat on the father’s royal throne, and declared that I would be the next Lord and Liege to the Saryan.
Observation
While reading the comic it’s clear the protagonist is all alone and the rest of the relatives were so greedy to get his father’s property and the Lordship. From her childhood, the girl faced many refusals for being a female. She was also in deep thought about the mystery of her father’s death.
Later the discussion about the inferior and superior of male and female blood led her to take steps to become the next rightful owner and Lord of Saryan.
Final Thought
In the comic “The Flower Of The Veneration” the main character Cecylia faces many difficulties and when she grows up is likely to observe the same behavior from his relatives and cousins.
